 “Parenting Through the Opioid Crisis.”

Welcome Facilitators!

Thank you for wanting to get involved with our new Courage to Speak - Courageous Parenting 101® “Parenting Through the Opioid Crisis" program. Thanks to a special grant from the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, we can offer this $700 training to you at no cost!

As a facilitator of our program parents will gain the tools and knowledge required to communicate more effectively with their children on substance abuse issues. It is expected that participating parents will demonstrate an active role in supporting children’s decisions to not use tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs. They will also develop improved listening and communication skills, which have been shown to be a critical factor in the prevention of substance abuse by young people.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by emailing gkatz@couragetospeak.org or calling us at (877) 431-3295.

Thank you.
